Disguise X1 Recommended System Specifications
Disguise Designer version
Section titled “Disguise Designer version”Support for Disguise X1 was introduced in Designer software version r30.8 (build number 215603).
Recommended Hardware Specification
Section titled “Recommended Hardware Specification”The table below outlines the recommended hardware specification for nodes used with Disguise X1.

| GPU | AMD or Nvidia GPU with sufficient rendering capabilities. Dual-GPU is not currently supported. Nvidia RTX and Quadro Professional GPUs must be used where genlock is a requirement within the wider video system |

Recommended Driver Specification
Section titled “Recommended Driver Specification”The table below outlines recommended Deltacast and Matrix SDK versions as a minimum:

The table below outlines Mellanox and Rivermax driver compatibility as validated by Disguise on Disguise hardware products. However, the exact driver version may differ depending on the Windows OS version and type of Mellanox NIC.

Recommended Windows OS configuration
Section titled “Recommended Windows OS configuration”We strongly recommend removing any software and hiding any notifications that can steal focus from Designer, or could trigger a reboot of the node. Below is an advised suggestion, however please note that we are unable to cover all scenarios:
Disable Firewall & Network Protection settings
Section titled “Disable Firewall & Network Protection settings”- Go to Windows Security → Firewall and Network Protection → Firewall Notification Settings → Manage Notification.
- Disable Virus & Threat protection notifications.
- Disable Account protection notification.
- Disable Firewall & network protection notifications.
Disable Sleep Mode
Section titled “Disable Sleep Mode”- Right-click the Windows logo in the bottom left corner of the home screen.
- Go to Power Options → set all screen and sleep setting to never.
Disable Password Protected Sharing
Section titled “Disable Password Protected Sharing”- Open Settings → Network and Internet → Advanced Sharing Settings → Password protected sharing.
- Set to off.
Disable Notification Setting
Section titled “Disable Notification Setting”Open System → Notification → Disable all notification options.
Testing & Validating Node Specification
Section titled “Testing & Validating Node Specification”We strongly recommend the installation of a Designer software version using either the Starter or Pro plan on your chosen node specification to test and validate performance before purchasing an X1 license.
