Transcoding Software
Designer supports playing back a range of video codecs. A common part of any production is encoding or transcoding your content in to the correct format. We recommend using standard rendering applications such as Adobe Media Encoder or the freeware MPEG Streamclip for transcoding and encoding. The following codecs are supported in the standard install of most media transcoding applications:
- ProRes
- TIFF
- DXV
- EXR
