DXV 2.1.1 Codec

このコンテンツはまだ日本語訳がありません。

The DXV 2.1.1 codec performs all decompression on the GPU. All codecs have unique performance characteristics due to the various compression methodologies and DXV 2.1.1 is no exception.

DXV 2.1.1 provides excellent results and quality to size ratio. When playing back filmed video content, it performs very well without any changes to workflow. See the Filmed Video visual comparison section below.

When playing back graphics with strong gradients, noise can be added to the video during render to reduce compression artefacts. See the Graphics & Gradients visual comparison section below.

With the DXV 2.1.1 codec there can be artefacts after compression in certain cases. One issue that can occur is banding in gradients, however this can be eased by adding a small amount of noise to the media before conversion. DXV DXV
