HDMI Video Capture

このコンテンツはまだ日本語訳がありません。

The EX 3+ and EX 2C servers support 4K DCI HDMI 2.0 video capture, in addition to 12G-SDI capture. This enables flexible combinations of HDMI and SDI inputs, depending on the server model and licensing.

That means the EX 3+ can support simultaneously:

  • 1x 4K DCI HDMI 2.0 capture (HDMI connector)
  • 2x 12G SDI inputs via Ports A and C (HD-BNC connector), or 4x 3G SDI inputs (HD-BNC connector)

That means the EX 2C can support simultaneously:

  • 1x 4K DCI HDMI 2.0 capture (HDMI connector)
  • 1x 12G SDI inputs via Port A (HD-BNC connector), or 4x 3G SDI inputs (HD-BNC connector)

or

  • 2x 12G SDI inputs via Ports A and C (HD-BNC connector)

To enable HDMI video capture, all of the following requirements must be met:

  • Designer r32.2 or later
  • The option switch enableHDMICapture must be enabled.
  • The appropriate 25Q3 OS image ust be installed for the server model, as specified in the Product Compatibility table.

The table below summarises the input and output capabilities for HDMI.

Licensing imposes the following limitations:

The EX 2C is licensed to accept up to two 4K / 12G input at a time.

If both 12G-SDI inputs are active, any 4K HDMI signal presented to the HDMI capture input will be rejected.

The EX 3+ supports three concurrent 4K / 12G inputs, which may be any combination of HDMI 2.0, and 12G-SDI.

These limits are enforced at runtime and cannot be overridden.
