• PN-2426: Resolved an issue where offline VM installation produced an invalid static IP configuration. The setup script now handles missing-network conditions and prompts for manual IP entry when the network scan fails.
• PN-2437: Resolved an issue where the static IP setup script would hang indefinitely when scanning a /16 subnet. The scan now times out and falls back to manual IP entry.
• PN-2517: Shorten network service boot timeout.
• SSH connection setup is now consolidated and runs at the end of VM setup for improved reliability.
• Firewall setup now correctly skips when no network adaptors are present.
• The Porta Manager IP is no longer subject to a separate SSH check during setup.

Known Issues

• The “Fix IP Settings” button in Porta Manager must be used after changing a machine’s IP.
• Migrating an existing database to a Porta On Prem instance is not yet supported.
• SSH connection setup occasionally fails during VM setup. If this happens, run the static IP setup manually from the VM terminal — see the VM machine setup guide for instructions.
• The VM occasionally stalls during setup, boot, or ACPI shutdown, and must be powered off abruptly to recover.
• After updating Virtual Box, the host computer may need to be restarted before the VM can be launched.
