Stage Kinetics MoveCat Driver
このコンテンツはまだ日本語訳がありません。
The Stage Kinetics MoveCat Driver allows Disguise to receive positional and status data from MoveCat stage automation systems. MoveCat systems are widely used for precise movement of hoists, lifts, trolleys and other scenic elements in live events.
Using this driver, Disguise can synchronise content with real-world motion or drive timelines based on incoming axis positions.
We recommend using the default driver settings unless your MoveCat or network configuration requires specific adjustments.
Use the Stage Kinetics MoveCat Driver when your production includes:
- MoveCat-controlled hoists or chain motors
- Tracking or synchronising content to flown scenic objects
- Dynamic video surfaces that move in 3D space
- Show automation systems where Disguise must follow or react to live mechanical movement
- Multi-axis movement that needs to be represented inside Disguise in real time
This driver enables accurate content alignment and automation-driven behaviour whenever MoveCat is part of the show environment.
Driver Properties
Section titled “Driver Properties”This driver listens on UDP port 16000 by default.
Port
The UDP port on which the driver receives data. Set this to match the port configured on the sending device or controller.
IP filter (optional)
Restricts incoming data to a specific source IP address. Useful when several sources are present on the network, or to isolate a single sender. Leave blank to accept data from any IP.
Multicast address (optional)
The multicast group address used by your system. Only required when the sender is configured for multicast — enter the exact multicast address used by the emitter. Leave empty for unicast or broadcast configurations.
Protocol version
Section titled “Protocol version”Specifies the MoveCat protocol version used by the driver.
The default setting is V2, which is the current standard for MoveCat automation data.
Only change this if your MoveCat installation requires a different protocol version.
