Ncam Driver
このコンテンツはまだ日本語訳がありません。
The Ncam Driver receives real-time camera tracking data from an Ncam system.
Ncam is widely used in virtual production, AR, and broadcast environments to provide high-precision positional, rotational, and lens metadata.
The driver connects directly to the Ncam server using the configured IP address and port, translating incoming data into automation values within Disguise.
The driver also includes diagnostic tools to help monitor packet timing and assess the health of the network data stream.
Use the Ncam Driver when you need to bring real-time camera tracking information from an Ncam system into Disguise. This enables virtual cameras, AR graphics, and xR scenes to remain perfectly aligned with the physical camera.
This driver is particularly useful when:
- Integrating Ncam tracking for AR, xR, or virtual studio productions.
- Receiving positional, rotational, and lens metadata from the Ncam server.
- Ensuring accurate spatial alignment between real and virtual cameras.
- Monitoring the performance and stability of the tracking data stream.
- Diagnosing issues such as packet loss, jitter, or inconsistent update rates.
- Synchronising tracked camera movement with realtime content playback.
Whether you are using Ncam for high-end real-time rendering or simple alignment tasks, the driver provides a direct and reliable link between Ncam hardware and Disguise.
Driver Properties
Section titled “Driver Properties”IP address
Section titled “IP address”Specifies the IP address of the Ncam server supplying tracking data.
This must match the address configured on the Ncam system.
The Port used by Ncam to transmit tracking data to Disguise.
Set this to the same port number configured in the Ncam server settings.
Enable packet timing graph
Section titled “Enable packet timing graph”Enables detailed logging and visualisation of incoming packet timing.
Useful for diagnosing:
- dropped or delayed packets
- inconsistent tracking data
- network jitter
- timing irregularities in the data stream
When enabled, Disguise displays a timing graph to assist with troubleshooting.
