Projector Calibrator Device

このコンテンツはまだ日本語訳がありません。

The Projector Calibrator Device is used to align projectors to a 3D space by pairing tracked reference points in the scene with their projected positions on the physical surface. Once calibrated, Designer knows each projector’s position and orientation, so content can be accurately mapped onto the target surfaces.

The device relies on tracking data — a Position Receiver Device or equivalent tracking source typically provides the real-world coordinates for the reference points used during calibration. For an overview of Designer’s calibration methods (Manual, QuickCal and OmniCal), see the Projector Calibration overview.

Use the Projector Calibrator Device when:

  • Aligning one or more projectors to a 3D space using tracked reference points.
  • Iteratively refining projector positions by stepping through reference points with remote controls.
  • Working with tracking systems that deliver real-world coordinates for calibration markers.
  1. Add the Projector Calibrator Device in Designer.
  2. Use Add Projectors to add each projector to be calibrated.
  3. Provide tracked point data — typically via a connected tracking system routed through a Position Receiver.
  4. Select a reference point and pair its Tracked point position with its corresponding Projector position.
  5. Use the Remote Calibrator controls to step through reference points, adjusting and confirming each placement.
  6. Enable Draw test lines and adjust Test blob size to visually verify the alignment.

Controls for performing calibration remotely, without direct access to Designer’s interface.

  • Start — Begin a remote calibration session.
  • Done — End the current remote calibration session.
  • Prev Step / Next Step — Move backwards or forwards through the reference points.
  • Rotate Left / Rotate Right — Rotate the current calibration pattern.
  • Up / Down / Left / Right — Nudge the current calibration pattern.
  • Undo Reference Point Placement — Revert the last reference point placement.
